Job Summary

Powers Health is seeking a highly skilled Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide expert care to patients with specific disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and integumentary systems.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with medical staff, nursing associates, and other departments to develop and implement care plans for patients with ostomies, fistulae, tubes, dermal wounds, pressure ulcers, and fecal or urinary incontinence.
  • Provide and coordinate care services to patients across the continuum of illness, promoting effective utilization of healthcare resources and assisting patients and families with personal and environmental problems.
  • Maintain current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Indiana and BLS provider certification.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or closely related field.
  • WOCN Course completion and certification.
  • Current licensure to practice professional nursing in the State of Indiana.
