Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

CrossMed is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Job Summary:
  • Specialty: Labor and Delivery
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse
  • Duration: 13 weeks
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum. You will work closely with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, interventions, and education
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patients' responses to interventions and report outcomes
  • Administer medications as ordered and document appropriately
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • Certifications may be required based on facility requirements
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move and lift equipment, pushing, bending, and pulling
