  • Greet every guest warmly, establishing a friendly atmosphere with a smile and eye contact.
  • Respond swiftly to requests from guests and collaborate effectively with other departments.
  • Safeguard the privacy and security of both guests and colleagues.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards and expectations.
  • Prepare and transport housekeeping carts filled with necessary supplies to designated areas.
  • Access guest rooms following established protocols to ensure safety and vacancy.
  • Restock and replace guest amenities and supplies in accordance with brand standards.
  • Change out soiled linens and towels for fresh, clean items.
  • Make beds and neatly arrange linens.
  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms and other guest areas.
  • Dispose of trash, used linens, and room service items appropriately.
  • Verify that all appliances in the room are present and functioning correctly.
  • Report maintenance issues and order replacements as needed.
  • Organize desk items, furniture, and appliances to maintain a tidy appearance.
  • Dust, polish, and remove marks from walls and furnishings to enhance the room's aesthetic.
  • Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties in guest rooms and hallways.
  • Ensure security for guests and property by keeping room doors locked and reporting any suspicious activity.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and more with assistance.
  • Capability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and equipment over uneven surfaces.
  • Physical ability to reach overhead, bend, twist, and stoop as necessary.
  • Willingness to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.
  • Proficient in grasping, turning, and manipulating various objects, requiring fine motor skills.
