AI Model Training Content Writer Opportunity

Outlier is seeking experienced English writers to contribute to the development of generative artificial intelligence models. As a freelance content writer, you will play a crucial role in training AI models by providing high-quality human feedback.

Responsibilities
  • Read and evaluate English text to assess the quality and relevance of AI-generated responses.
  • Write and rewrite prompts and responses, requiring research and fact-checking skills to ensure accuracy and coherence.
  • Assess the factuality and relevance of text produced by AI models, providing valuable feedback to improve model performance.
Requirements
  • Experience as a professional writer or editor, with a strong command of English language and grammar.
  • Currently enrolled in or completed an associate degree or higher in a writing-related discipline at an accredited institution.
  • A strong sense of writing style, paired with exceptional English-language spelling and grammar, as well as logic and reasoning skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to explain clearly the strengths and weaknesses of a given piece of text.
Compensation
  • Pay rates for core project work by English writing experts in the US average USD $15 per hour, with rates varying based on expertise, skills assessment, location, project need, and other factors.
  • Certain projects offer incentive payments, and non-core work may have lower rates. Please review the payment terms for each project.
