Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist

At MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our cardiovascular care team, you will play a vital role in assisting physicians during invasive cardiovascular procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Operate fluoroscopy equipment to visualize and guide catheter placement within the heart and blood vessels, providing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and assist physicians during procedures, adhering to radiation safety protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Obtain and process angiographic images, utilizing your expertise to ensure optimal image quality for interpretation by cardiologists.
  • Perform equipment maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues, ensuring seamless operation of imaging equipment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care, adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Participate in on-call rotation schedules as required, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification and California Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, with advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Proficiency in operating fluoroscopy equipment and image acquisition systems, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
