Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement care and medical nutrition therapy plans using established standards of care and practice protocols/guidelines.
  • Manage resources in a cost-effective manner and participate in performance improvement efforts.
  • Maintain professional competency and skills required for professional practice.
  • Conduct nutrition assessments for patients at nutritional risk and obtain timely and appropriate data.
  • Assist in the development of new and existing programs and services.
  • Maintain dietetic registration, state credentialing, and continuing education requirements.
  • Assist in achieving compliance with TJC standards and other regulatory agency standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association within 6 months of hire.
  • Licensed by the Iowa State Department of Health.
  • Mandatory Reporter.
