Position Overview

  • Supervise laboratory staff and ensure adherence to credentialing standards
  • Conduct advanced testing on patient specimens
  • Assist team members with various laboratory functions
  • Oversee quality assurance initiatives
  • Coordinate laboratory coverage during staff absences and holidays
  • Assess and integrate new laboratory technologies and procedures
  • Manage orders and requisitions
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and documentation
  • Work in specialized areas including Microbiology, Chemistry, Hematology, and others

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate's degree in a relevant scientific field with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role

Certifications: MT(ASCP) MLS (ASCP) MLT(ASCP) or equivalent credentials

Licenses/Certifications Required: MT(ASCP) MLS(ASCP) MLT(ASCP) AMT, NCA or equivalent

  • Ability to accurately identify patients and samples
