We are seeking a skilled Shipboard Scaffolder to join our team at AMP United, a TURNKEY preservation contractor. Our team possesses the qualifications, certifications, personnel, and experience to accomplish large-scale industrial preservation (surface preparation and coating application) as well as associated scaffolding and containment requirements.

As a Shipboard Scaffolder, you will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems aboard ships in the Kittery, ME area. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a maritime environment.

• Erecting and dismantling scaffolding systems according to specifications and safety standards.
• Inspecting scaffolding components for damage or wear and replacing as necessary.
• Working closely with team members to ensure efficient and safe installation and removal of scaffolding.
• Adhering to all safety regulations and protocols, including those specific to working aboard ships.
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members to coordinate workflow and ensure project deadlines are met.
• Ability to obtain access to government installations as required for job duties.

• Previous experience as a scaffolder, preferably in a maritime or shipyard environment.
• Knowledge of scaffolding systems, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant certifications or training a plus.
• Ability to obtain access to government installations.
