Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Work Planner to join our team at Eocene Environmental Group. As a Work Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of power to our customers. Your expertise in utility line clearance and forestry management will be essential in maintaining our high standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct tree and brush inventories to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Plan and coordinate work with tree contractors to ensure timely and effective completion of projects.
  • Manage data and maintain accurate records of work completed and hazards identified.
  • Enforce on-the-job safety practices and ensure a safe working environment for employees and the public.

Requirements:

  • Degree in forestry or related field and/or experience in utility line clearance.
  • Species identification skills and invasive species knowledge, plus knowledge of tree growth rates.
  • Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months upon job offer.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and inclement weather.
  • Proficient in map navigation skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and data collection software (GIS experience a plus).
