Position Overview
The Clinical Research Coordinator A will play a vital role in overseeing various clinical trials and managing responsibilities within a designated research domain. This includes coordinating patient screening, subject enrollment, and the collection and preservation of biological samples along with related study documentation. The role also involves gathering clinical data and assisting with Institutional Review Board (IRB) submissions and inquiries, as well as contributing to the preparation of manuscripts, grant applications, and research presentations.
The Clinical Research Coordinator B is primarily responsible for promoting and ensuring adherence to good clinical practices across all research protocols within the Department/Center. This position independently manages different phases of intricate clinical trials and provides mentorship to coordinators and research assistants. The role entails collaboration with partner institutions to develop multi-center budgets and oversee expenditures. Participation in study team meetings, disease site group discussions, and ongoing protocol training/compliance sessions is also essential. Additionally, this position supports the monitoring of external sites and assists in the management of multi-site trials.
Position Requirements
• For Clinical Research Coordinator A: A Bachelor of Science degree along with 1 to 2 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• For Clinical Research Coordinator B: A Bachelor of Science degree with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
