Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing expert tax guidance and support to our clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized solutions.
• Conduct tax interviews and prepare tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
• Provide tax planning and audit support to clients, helping them navigate complex tax situations.
• Identify opportunities to grow business and increase client retention through the sale of additional products and services.
• Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and maintain expertise in tax planning and preparation.

• 5+ years of experience in tax preparation and planning.
• Experience completing individual and business tax returns.
• Tax planning and audit support experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or equivalent.
• Must complete continuing education requirements and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements.
