Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a Travel Nurse RN specializing in Med Surg for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards.
  • Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participating in patient assessments and care planning.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Valid nursing license in the state of Wisconsin.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med Surg nursing.
  • Recent hospital experience is essential.
  • Experience in Trauma Level II settings is required.
  • Prior travel nursing experience is preferred.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Familiarity with Epic charting system.
Additional Information

Applicants must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. The role involves floating to various inpatient units and managing patient assignments effectively. The unit focuses on post-surgical care, catering to adults and geriatric patients.
