About the Position

We are seeking a board certified or board eligible Orthopedic Surgeon to join our existing team at Norton Kings Daughters Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

This is a general orthopedic practice providing both inpatient and outpatient services with call. Call is 1 in 3 and participants are responsible for clinic, hospital rounding, admissions, ER consults, and call.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the Total Joint Program
  • Provide sports medicine services, including joint and muscular injuries
  • Care for a variety of patient populations, including weekend warriors, fracture care, joint replacement and reconstruction, arthroscopic procedures, arthritis problems, joint problems and injuries, pediatric care, ligament and tendon care
  • Enjoy the benefits of an established patient base from day one
  • Work a four-day work week
  • Office suite is adjacent to the hospital
  • Only hospital in the county offering orthopedic services
  • Seven operating rooms and one cysto room available
  • Lab and x-ray services on site

Requirements

  • Medical degree/diploma
  • Residency/fellowship certification
  • Board certification or board eligible
  • Indiana medical license or license eligible
