Commission Processor

We are seeking a highly skilled Commission Processor to join our team at HomeServices of America Inc. As a Commission Processor, you will be responsible for processing new and closed sales transactions, commissions, and reconciliations. You will also provide transaction follow-up, respond to commission questions, and assist with month-end reconciliations.

• Process Sales Transactions: Review and record open contracts, receive incoming transaction checks, balance with cash, deposit funds, calculate, verify, enter, and distribute commission funds.
• Month-End Reconciliations: Complete month-end and other reconciliations, prepare and enter miscellaneous journal entries related to sales transactions.
• Commission Research and Resolution: Respond to questions regarding commissions, research and resolve discrepancies, and assist in locating errors and filling out reports.
• Accounting and Financial Tasks: Process sales associate accounts receivable charges and payments, assist in reconciling statements, revenue accounts, and commissions, and maintain and reconcile escrow information.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and work experience, Associates in accounting preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years' experience in accounting, related industry experience helpful.
• Skills: Effective problem-solving skills, attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, ability to calculate figures, strong calculator and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, and working knowledge of computer-based accounting programs.
