Job Overview

At Mechanical Engineering and Construction Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Piping Foreman to oversee all phases of central plant construction. This is a high-level journeyman or master supervisor position with excellent compensation and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Directly responsible for overseeing manpower on job sites and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Technical Expertise: Experienced in installation, coil connections, pumps, heat exchangers, and other central plant equipment.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills required to coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: Completion of a four-year apprenticeship or equivalent experience in the trade.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Journeyman gasfitters license and valid driver's license.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to read plans, perform layout, supervise manpower, and maintain tools.
Compensation and Benefits:
