We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Manager to lead our Endoscopy department at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the department, managing and developing staff, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Department Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Endoscopy department, ensuring seamless daily operations and effective management of staff.
- Staff Management: Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and support staff, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to ensure individual and team success.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with physicians, management team members, and other stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and achieve organizational goals.
- Quality and Safety: Ensure a safe and high-quality patient care environment, adhering to Memorial Hermann's policies, procedures, and standards.
- Professional Development: Promote individual growth and development through ongoing education, skills competency, and performance reviews.
- Education: Bachelor of Nursing degree from an accredited school of professional nursing required, or documented degree plan and timeframe to complete Bachelor of Nursing.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing, Certified in Basic Life Support, and professional certification in clinical area or management preferred.
- Experience: Three or more years of experience in clinical area of practice and minimum one year of experience in a supervisory or management role.
