Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Fitter to join our fabrication shop team in Lakeland, FL. As an essential member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical components and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install mechanical components and systems according to technical specifications and industry standards.
  • Use precision tools and equipment to ensure accurate fitting and alignment of components.
  • Collaborate with welders and other shop personnel to complete fabrication tasks.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Inspect finished assemblies and installations for quality and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Technical training or certification in industrial fitting, mechanical systems, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an industrial fitter or in a similar role within a fabrication shop or industrial setting.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights. Safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) are mandatory.

Compensation:

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan.
