  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop a team of maintenance professionals to meet business needs and achieve company goals.
  • Vendor Management: Select, negotiate, and manage facilities, service, and equipment vendors to ensure best value for Steel.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory agency requirements and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all maintenance work meets company standards.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with staff, management, and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and problem-solving.
Requirements
  • 5 years of manufacturing management experience in maintenance or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of LOTO, HAZMAT, and other safety regulations.
  • Experience working with quality control measures and knowledge of ISO 9000.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Spanish preferred.
  • Strong writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and experience with MRP formats.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, dependable, and self-accountable individual with a sense of urgency.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to problem-solve, multitask, prioritize, and delegate.
  • Strict attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Knowledge of lean concepts a plus.
  • Responsible, ethical, honest, positive, upbeat, and approachable individual.
