Job Overview

This role is a contract opportunity that allows for remote work.

About the Role


As a Logistics Analyst Contractor within the Consolidation Team, you will play an essential role in the supply chain framework, facilitating the movement of products from ports and domestic suppliers to retail locations across the U.S.

You will be tasked with developing tools and conducting vital analyses to guarantee that the appropriate products reach their designated locations punctually.

In this dynamic environment, each day presents new challenges and opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

1. Monitor and track container shipments to ensure prompt delivery to intended destinations.

2. Analyze logistical data to enhance operational efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities.

3. Employ Excel for data analysis, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

4. Engage in special initiatives aimed at refining logistics processes and enhancing capabilities.

5. Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective coordination throughout the supply chain.

Qualifications

- Proficient in Excel, with a solid understanding of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.

- Strong analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.

- Capacity to work autonomously and juggle multiple responsibilities in a remote setting.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management is advantageous.

Additional Information:
This is a 3-month contract role with potential for extension or conversion.

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $30-$33/hour
