We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to join our team at Carle Health. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in the perioperative team, providing safe and effective care to patients during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment
  • Operate and maintain surgical equipment
  • Assist with patient positioning and preparation
  • Participate in room turnover and set-up
  • Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure smooth surgical procedures
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in Surgical Technology or Certificate in Surgical Technology
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
