  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) plays a vital role in supporting the nursing process and operates under the guidance of the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioner, and/or Registered Nurse. The LPN is expected to comply with the policies and procedures established by Berkshire Health Systems clinical services.
  • QUALIFICATIONS
    • Experience:
      • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of nursing principles and practices.
      • Proficient in managing multiple phone lines with strong clerical and organizational abilities.
      • Preferred experience in specimen analysis and prior work in a physician's office.
    • Education:
      • Must be a graduate from an accredited Practical Nursing program.
    • Licensure and Certification:
      • Must hold a current Practical Nurse license in Massachusetts.
      • CPR certification is required.
    • Additional Requirements:
      • Commitment to ongoing education as per state regulations.
      • Preferred skills in data entry.
      • Proficient in using Windows and PC applications.
      • Ability to work autonomously while also taking direction when necessary.
      • Self-driven with the capacity to be flexible within a team environment.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
