Key Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting health literacy and self-management skills.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina or Virginia.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
