Job Title: Assembler

WR Case and Sons Cutlery Company is seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team. As an Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and packaging knives to meet our high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Assemble and package knives according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Perform quality control checks to identify and address any defects or issues.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality departments to resolve any production-related issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards.
  • Follow all quality assurance procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
Physical Demands:
  • Standing: As required by operation.
  • Sitting: Able to sit for extended periods in front of equipment.
  • Moving: Normal, able to move throughout the department as required by operation.
  • Lifting: Minimal, up to 35 pounds.
  • Pushing/Pulling: As required by operation.
  • Visual Acuity: Normal and/or corrected vision for inspection of work/components.
  • Bending/Stooping: Normal, minimal.
  • Hand Action: Ability to pick up small pins and nails and put numerous parts together to make a knife.
Education Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of W.R. Case Job/Safety Orientation.
