Job Title: Commercial Glazing Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Glazing Estimator to join our team at Camero Glass. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing bid proposals for private and public projects, collaborating with other estimators, and maintaining bid process schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Determining bid schedules and reviewing job specifications
  • Visiting job sites and attending pre-construction meetings
  • Soliciting and reviewing vendor and subcontractor quotes
  • Performing labor reviews and negotiating work with clients
  • Ability to read blueprints and architectural drawings
  • Ability to do accurate take-offs and familiarity with on-screen take-offs

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in estimating within the glazing industry
  • High School Diploma and knowledge of materials, machines, tools, and equipment used in the industry
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating System, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Understanding of manufacturers' installation instructions
  • Excellent customer service, conflict-resolution, and communication skills
