About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our OR team at Saint Joseph East. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room for assigned surgical procedures with proper instrumentation and sterilization
  • Navigate the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons you will be supporting
  • Adapt to the needs of emergency situations
  • Provide clean-up and turnover of operating room to prepare for next patient
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Graduate from an accredited surgical technology program
  • NBSTSA or NCCT certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with varied high-tech surgical equipment

We prefer candidates with one year of perioperative services experience.
