Lead Direct Service Provider

MIKID is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Service Lead to join our team. As a key member of our direct care services, you will provide support, guidance, and direction to children and families in need. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality services that make a real impact in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care services to children and families, including support with daily living skills, emotional regulation, and socialization.
- Collaborate with the Direct Service Manager to develop and implement individualized service plans.
- Supervise and mentor Direct Service Providers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Conduct monthly summaries and intakes, and maintain accurate records.
- Serve as the point of contact for Direct Service Providers in their assigned area.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or 60 credit hours of college credit.
- One year of experience in behavioral health or childcare.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- CPR/1st Aid certification.
- Current Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or ability to obtain.
- Valid Arizona Driver's License, business use vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
- Constantly assisting children who have a behavioral health diagnosis, involving lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Constantly stooping, bending, standing, and walking during a flexible respite shift.
- Must operate vehicle during the course of respite day.
