A Day in the Life of a Technician B:
Technician Bs are responsible for conducting routine scheduled maintenance services on vehicles, as directed by management.

Daily tasks include performing essential automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance procedures, such as:
oil changes, tire replacements and repairs, and general vehicle upkeep.
In this role, a Technician B will also have the chance to:
Execute automotive repairs, adjustments, and maintenance tasks as specified on repair orders
Conduct fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, and advanced repair and maintenance tasks
Drive vehicles into the service area, prepare them for inspection, and complete digital vehicle assessments
Test drive vehicles and prepare them for customer delivery after repairs and maintenance are finalized
Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a positive experience for members and customers
Guide, mentor, and train less experienced technicians

Required Qualifications:
High School diploma, GED, or Technical school certification
Valid driver's license
3 years or more of experience in vehicle repair at a dealership or automotive center
Knowledgeable about automotive and/or truck systems, tools, and technical resources, capable of independently performing a variety of basic repairs and maintenance tasks
Demonstrate proper use of equipment and tools for repair and maintenance, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
Consistently provide exceptional customer service and improve customer satisfaction scores

Preferred Qualifications:
ASE certifications (or equivalent): A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-Brakes, plus 2 additional ASE certifications
State inspection certification where applicable
AC 609 Certification

Work Environment:
May encounter loud noises and odors in the shop environment
This position requires standing, walking, and normal physical mobility, including reaching, lifting, and carrying automotive parts and equipment (averaging up to approximately 80 pounds)
Must possess own tools appropriate for skill level for use in the center
Ability to work in varying temperatures, as some locations may not have air conditioning
Must be able to remain on your feet in a concrete facility for the duration of the work shift
