About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cytotechnologist to join our team at Incyte Diagnostics in Spokane Valley. As a Cytotechnologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic services to our clients and patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform microscopic screening to accurately diagnose gynecological and non-gynecological specimens.
  • Comply with CAP requirements and State & Federal Regulations, including Quality Assurance programs.
  • Represent the department during inspections and actively participate in continuing education programs.
  • Enter case information into the computer system accurately and forward to proper locations.
  • Support good turnaround time by working productively and efficiently.
  • Support department and corporate culture of professionalism, teamwork, and inclusiveness.
  • Author and revise standard operating procedures as assigned.
  • Maintain current knowledge of departmental SOPs.
Requirements
  • Clinical education through an accredited cytotechnologist program.
  • Meets CLIA requirements as a Cytotechnologist & Post 2004 ASCP CT certification with current maintenance.
  • 2 years' laboratory and as Cytotechnologist experience preferred.
  • Imaging system certification preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
