About the Role

Absolutely Energy Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Energy Efficiency Specialist to contribute to our team of experts dedicated to helping homeowners reduce their energy consumption and save on utility bills. As an Energy Efficiency Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assessing and evaluating insulation and weatherization systems in residential settings, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending energy-efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough residential energy assessments using cutting-edge tools and technology
  • Compile detailed work recommendations for customers on energy efficiency measures, including heat pumps, weatherization, windows, and other potential energy savings
  • Provide infrared scans (IR) and home reports to customers, highlighting areas for improvement and recommended upgrades
  • Install energy-saving measures in residential homes and multi-family dwellings, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Troubleshoot technical problems and issues related to energy usage, providing expert guidance and support to customers
  • Collaborate with clients to explain assessment results, provide guidance on insulation, weatherization, and air sealing upgrades, and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in insulation technology and energy efficiency, applying this knowledge to improve customer outcomes
  • Generate and sell recommended weatherization contracts, driving business growth and revenue
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or residential home work, with a strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and practices
  • BPI Building Analyst Certification preferred, but not required
  • Strong knowledge of insulation materials, techniques, and building codes and principles, with a focus on energy efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Ability to enter and maneuver in crawl spaces, basements, and attics as needed, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction
  • Travels frequently within assigned territory, with a focus on customer satisfaction and business growth
