Job Summary

We are seeking an Electrode Prep Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will use various equipment and hand tools to produce Amprius Technologies' proprietary silicon anode Li-Ion cells. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to work well in a team, and have experience with mechanical assembly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate small equipment and hand tools to produce components and battery cells
  • Measure materials with precision instruments
  • Visual inspection of components for defects
  • Input data into quality management software
  • Construct test samples for electrode verification
  • Assemble components into a physically complete cell
Requirements
  • Proficient with hand tools and production equipment
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and efficiency
  • Basic computer skills and ability to enter data accurately
  • Follow standard work instructions and recommend improvements
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
  • Responsible for quality of tasks performed
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and well-organized work area
Physical Demands & Work Location
  • Fremont, CA: This is an on-site job. Reliable commute or planning to relocate before starting work is required.
  • Adhere to the company's quality and safety requirements.
  • Be able to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.
  • May be required to stand, sit, squat, bend, kneel, twist, crawl, reach, lift, balance, push, and pull.
  • Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including, but not limited to, a lab coat, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, respirator, and safety shoes.
