Job Summary:

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse II, you will play a vital role in providing complex nursing care to individuals with mental health, behavioral, and medical diagnoses. Your expertise will be essential in promoting the health and well-being of our patients, and you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Conduct health screenings and collect specimens for laboratory examination.

• Provide education and support to patients and their families on health-related topics and promote healthy behaviors.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient care and treatment plans.

• Respond to emergency situations and provide care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of Texas.

• Completion of a vocational nursing program approved by the Texas Board of Nursing.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety and respect.

Working Conditions:
