We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Part-Time Psychiatrist to join our team at the Pennsylvania State University, Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide psychiatric care to university students, primarily evaluations and medication management, in a multidisciplinary setting. They will also collaborate with mental health clinicians at CAPS as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric care to university students, including evaluations and medication management
  • Collaborate with mental health clinicians at CAPS as needed
  • Work as a substitute physician collaborator for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners at CAPS
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree or higher, plus a minimum of six years of related experience. They must also be licensed in Pennsylvania by the start date of the position and be Board Certified with either the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry. Additionally, they should have an unrestricted DEA license.
