Maintenance Technician

Job Summary: Elmington Property Management is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Knoxville, TN. As a key team player, you will be responsible for the upkeep of our properties by responding to service requests and completing repairs promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair major appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general carpentry, pool care, roof, and gutter repairs.
  • Address issues with landscaping and snow/ice removal.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and coworkers in difficult situations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Perform service requests correctly and promptly.
  • Operate computers and other technological devices to access email and company software.
  • Execute Elmington's non-negotiables related to service work orders and vacant unit turns.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of property maintenance and/or maintenance experience.
  • EPA/HVAC/CPO certification preferred/required.
  • Effective communication.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the property.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools.
  • Building maintenance and repairs.
  • Respond to issues outside of normal work schedule when required.
  • Accurately report all time worked.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
