About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a passion for excellence and a keen eye for detail to lead our maintenance team. As a Production Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring all equipment and machinery are functioning at optimal levels at all times.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team on a daily basis, ensuring all preventative and corrective maintenance tasks are carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, PLC, Allen Bradley, VFD, and boiler systems.
  • Implement and maintain HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards and procedures, ensuring all operations are compliant with industry regulations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and address any potential issues or improvements in machinery or processes.
  • Manage maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and materials.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests as required, implementing effective solutions to minimize disruption to operations.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance supervisory role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, automation, PLC, Allen Bradley, VFD, and boiler systems.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMP standards and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to motivate and mentor a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a non-technical audience.
