Job DescriptionAs a Nurse Practitioner (APRN), you will be responsible for providing evidence-based medical care, performing examinations, treating chronic and urgent illnesses, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive patient care through planning, directing, and evaluating medical needs
- Conduct thorough examinations and provide treatment for acute and chronic conditions
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as necessary
- Collaborate with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to maintain a cohesive plan of care
- Provide referrals to other healthcare practitioners when required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records
Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations, maintaining proficiency in electronic medical record systems, and participating in ongoing education and training to enhance your skills and knowledge.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:
- An active state Nurse Practitioners license
- Current Nurse Practitioner National Board Certification
- Active state DEA licensure
- A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN)
- At least five years of nursing experience, with two years of nurse practitioner experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with accountability for daily workflow
- Proficiency in medical instruments and equipment
- Demonstrated knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
- Ability to engage in moderate physical activity, including handling objects up to 25 lbs. and standing or walking for extended periods
