Technical Professionals Group (TPG) is a leading provider of validation, durability, mileage accumulation and quality testing services for the automotive industry.
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Professional Heavy Vehicle Operator to join our team in Fairbanks. The successful candidate will operate heavy vehicles for testing and validation purposes, accumulating miles and providing valuable feedback to engineering teams.
Responsibilities:
- Drive various heavy vehicles following specific protocols to gather accurate data for analysis.
- Drive designated routes documenting performance, feedback, and metrics.
- Flexibility to work either the 1st or 2nd shift (overnights) depending on testing needs.
Requirements:
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED as well as a CDL Class A are required.
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, demonstrated by a clean driving record and minimum of 3 years of driving experience operating Class 6 and Class 8 heavy vehicle with manual transmissions.
- Ability to travel, as needed, to specific states for specialized tests or vehicle transportation as well as internationally (possession of a valid passport is highly desired).
