Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech III to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Radiology Tech III, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic, cat scan, mammography, bone density, ultra sound, magnetic resonance imaging, or special procedures according to department protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic radiographic, cat scan, mammography, bone density, ultra sound, magnetic resonance imaging, or special procedures according to department protocols.
  • Function as the first line interface with customers and ensure their imaging needs are met.
  • Participate in PI/QC activities and assist in maintaining performance improvement programs.
  • Supervise radiology staff in the absence and maintain department supplies.
  • Promote teamwork and good customer service.
  • Assist in annual evaluations and staff discipline.
  • Do scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintain supplies and equipment for assigned sub department.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS.
Qualifications
  • Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Effective July 1, 2017 national certification in three modalities or if functioning in a leadership role, national certification in 2 modalities and leadership experience required.
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • Current BCLS required upon hire and maintain current.
  • One year of acute clinical radiography preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills.
