Automotive Dismantler

At LKQ, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Dismantler to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring a positive customer experience by properly removing high-quality auto parts and usable core parts safely, efficiently, and properly.

• Dismantle vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety-conscious manner.
• Label and tag parts to be placed into stock.
• Check the quality and product type of the parts.
• Maintain all the necessary tools and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Hands-on automotive repair experience.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Basic understanding of vehicle parts and functions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production quotas.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and an office environment. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud. The employee should not have any lifting restrictions and must not be afraid of heights. The employee should be able to tolerate high and low-temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.
