Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Adjunct Librarian to join our team. As a key member of our library staff, you will provide reference service to library patrons, information literacy instruction to individuals and classes, and assist in library publicity and collection maintenance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide reference service to library patrons, including conducting reference interviews and assisting with research.
- Develop and deliver information literacy instruction to students, including coordinating with faculty and implementing accommodations for students with disabilities.
- Assist with library publicity, including developing information materials and creating library exhibits.
- Maintain the library catalog and assist with collection maintenance, including suggesting titles to add to and deselect from the collection.
- Participate in library routines, including assisting with the development and revision of library policies and procedures, and participating in hiring of library staff.
- Masters of Library Science degree from an ALA-accredited institution.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
