Housekeeping Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Inspector to join our team at Courtyard by Marriott Hampton Coliseum Central. As a Housekeeping Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and quality.

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
• Communicate with housekeeping staff to address any issues or concerns.
• Follow up with guests to ensure their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Verify room status and report any discrepancies.
• Assign tasks and duties to housekeeping staff as needed.
• Conduct training sessions for housekeeping staff as required.
• Maintain accurate records and reports as needed.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
