As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in assessing and providing therapy to students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, making a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
  • Deliver high-quality therapy services individually and in groups, utilizing evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure seamless support and progress for students.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed progress records, providing valuable insights for student growth.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and stay up-to-date on best practices in the field, ensuring the highest level of care for students.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Minnesota Department of Education certification.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Licensure and Certifications:

  • State Licensure: Valid Speech-Language Pathology license from the Minnesota Department of Health.
  • Professional Certification: CCC-SLP from ASHA.
  • Educator Certification: Valid SLP license from the Minnesota Department of Education.
