Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our Resource Pool PRN Night Shift team at Tennova Healthcare, you will provide direct patient care within the scope of the Licensed Practical Nurse Act. You will report to and directly assist the Registered Nurse in providing total patient care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Your role will involve identifying the basic needs of patients and individualizing their care to meet those needs. You will adhere to all facility policies and procedures while providing respectful and courteous service to our patient base.

Requirements

Education:
Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing as evidenced by verification of state licensure. Diploma or transcripts from nursing program required upon hire.

Experience:
One year of experience in a hospital or medical environment is preferred.

Licenses/Certificates:
Current Tennessee or Compact State licensed practical nurse license is required. BLS and ACLS certification is required (AHA or Red Cross only). If not ACLS certified on hire, must acquire within one year.
