Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and customer service. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Ensure a clean and organized pharmacy environment
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with pharmacy practices and procedures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 6 months of experience in a retail environment preferred
  • PTCB certification preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
