Position Title: General Manufacturing Associate

Role Summary: The Manufacturing Associate plays a crucial role in various production areas by ensuring cleanliness and organization of components and materials. This position involves repetitive tasks such as extracting components from metal sheets and operating machinery for metal fabrication and finishing to meet client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining a tidy workspace by cleaning and organizing parts and materials.
  • Perform repetitive operations to detach parts from metal sheets.
  • Operate metal fabrication and finishing machinery to cut, bend, form, and finish metal components according to customer specifications.
  • Fit, assemble, adjust, and repair subassemblies and major assemblies.
  • Maintain accurate counts of parts and attach appropriate labels or tags to processed materials.

Essential Skills:

  • Comfortable working in warm environments.
  • Mechanically inclined with a strong aptitude for machinery.
  • Able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with labor reporting systems.
  • Proficient in operating metal fabrication and finishing equipment.

Interpersonal Skills:

  • Effective communication with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks and activities.
  • Commitment to quality and performance standards.

Employment Type: This is a Contract-to-Hire position.

Work Environment: The role is situated in a machine shop setting, where dust, grease, and metal shavings are present. Safety protocols include the mandatory use of safety glasses and steel-toed footwear.
