Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering external beam radiation therapy to patients, working closely with our Radiation Oncology team to ensure accurate and safe treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients, adhering to department procedures and protocols.
  • Monitor patients for unusual physical and psychological reactions, reporting any observations to the Clinical Nurse Specialist and Radiation Oncology physician.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatment schedules and collaborate with the physician, physics staff, and front office staff to ensure seamless treatment delivery.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Technology program and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology in Radiation Therapy.
  • Certified as a Radiation Therapist by the State of Washington and possessing AIDS certification for healthcare workers.
  • CPR certification and ability to work cooperatively with the team.
