Job Summary

At Yelloh, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by loading and refueling delivery trucks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading Frozen Food: Load frozen food from warehouse freezers into delivery trucks, and unload frozen food product up to 50 pounds from semis into warehouse freezers.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels of our trucks and freezer, ensuring that products are properly stored and accounted for.
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform general upkeep of the facility, including cleaning and maintenance of the depot and grounds.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including proper use of protective clothing and equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Experience: 2+ years of related experience preferred
  • Eligibility: Must meet the Federal DOT eligibility requirements, including appropriate driver's license and medical certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work physically in freezer environments for 4-8 hours per day, loading and unloading trucks, and standing for 8-hour shifts
