About the CareerThe Claims Analyst I has the primary responsibility of posting all daily incoming cash to the Accounts Receivable (AR) system. This includes processing 835s, EFTs, and mail deposits, as well as ensuring that patients and insurance company payments and adjustments are properly deposited, posted, and balanced for all payment types. The successful candidate will collaborate with the rest of the Patient Financial Services (PFS) team to streamline workflows and maximize clean accounts.
Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
- Previous Accounts Receivable/Cash Posting experience; Customer service background; Multi-task background preferred
- 1-2 years hospital PFS department experience preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and non-verbally, in a clear and concise manner, both orally and in writing
