Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technician

At Della Infotech, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our attending physicians in effectively performing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs and perform angiographic / cardiovascular / interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury.
  • Support attending physicians and other clinical staff in preforming surgical procedures, ensuring that all aspects of patient records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, and that patients are properly positioned and restrained during procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an A.M.A approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
  • Licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio.
  • Successful completion of training to perform other radiologic procedures (e.g., surgery, Cath/EP lab or Special procedures etc.).
  • Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, and apply and adjust restraining devices.
  • Ability to initiate CPR (CPR Certification).
  • Ability to utilize hospital and radiology computer system and file system.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
  • Demonstrates clinical skills necessary to assist physician in performing vascular procedures.
  • Knowledge of equipment and technologies utilized in procedures, pressure monitoring vascular anatomy and physiology, aseptic technique, and radiation safety practice.
Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to lift and position patients. The successful candidate will also be required to wear 7-10 lbs of lead protection throughout the work day.
