Mercy is seeking a skilled OB Technician to join our team. As an OB Technician, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our obstetric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for patient care, including maintenance of patient records, bed control, and turnover.
- Assist with clerical tasks, such as patient registration, charge capture, and supply management.
- Support the nursing team by providing supportive care and assistance with ADLs to newborns, childbearing, and postpartum patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Surgical Technology experience required at hire or completion of a unit-based competency within 6 months of hire.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
