Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the immediate care of patients on a given tour of duty, making rounds to all patient care areas and obtaining report from the charge nurse.
  • Supervise nursing personnel on duty and contribute to the evaluation of nursing personnel, recommending personnel actions to the appropriate nurse manager.
  • Coordinate nursing activities with related departments and act as a liaison to OSUH.
  • Provide information for staffing needs and function as a representative for crisis, emergency, or unusual situations.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current Ohio licensure.
  • Progressively responsible hospital nursing experience in administration and supervision.
  • BSN required. ACLS certification preferred.
